I visit the Clay Cafe as often as possible, alone or with friends. It's a place I like to go when I want to relax and forget about the stresses of the day. I use the time to let my creativity flow, crafting individual pieces personal use, as well as gifts.  I can always count on Elaine to provide guidance with colors, techniques and pottery selection. She is very, talented, and enthusiastic about her craft. She encourages patrons of all ages to explore their creative side and is very helpful with getting new comers started as well as teaching specific techniques to anyone interested in adding something different to their pottery.

Ladies Night at the Clay Cafe has been the backdrop of so many wonderful memories made with my girlfriends over the past 11 years. Whether every seat is filled, or there are just a handful of us, it is always nice to relax, catch up with friends, enjoy the complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and drink our wine from home. And it's so much fun to paint personalized gifts for other people, and decorative or functional items that perfectly match the decor and style of my own home. I'm so glad I stumbled across this fun and vibrant studio during a random stroll through Sewickley one afternoon more than a decade ago.
